Here I am with my future bride the fall we were dating; glad I was on my best behavior long enough for her to say yes. Pretty gorgeous catch; always felt I married better than she did. I was home on emergency leave helping mom and dad with potato harvest. I had less than a year to go to finish a 3 year hitch with the Marines and was headed to Vietnam. We had to put our steamy romance on ice for a year and got married the following fall. Hell yeah it was worth it.
Here we are a few years later in Hawaii. I’ve intentionally left the dates out, lets just say 6 kid’s, 21 grand kid’s, 2 more coming in the spring and one hell of and adventure in between. I wouldn’t have had it any other way.
